Andreas Hutter's work is a search for the untouched. A fleeting moment in which human nature has not yet been distorted by expectations, morals or social masks. The artist works with a mixture of expressive realism and abstract elements to visualise this tension. Faces become maps of untold stories. Bodies transform into fragile sculptures and colours burst out of lines as if they wanted to break free from the control of form.Through deliberate blurring, visible brushstrokes or the embedding of nature and animal motifs, Andreas Hutter creates an aesthetic of transition between purity and decay, instinct and reflection.
